1st Bikers Cafe Build Off

The first ever Bikers Café Build-Off saw us handing over a trio of brand new Royal Enfield Classic 500 motorcycles to the UAE's top three custom builders. Möto, 86 Cycles and Deus Arabia had until October 9th to build their vision of a custom Enfield; the only prerequisites being that the original engine, chassis and logo have to be retained, along with full functionality. With anticipation and excitement running high, the cafe was packed as early as 6PM even though the event was scheduled to start only by 7:30PM. Overflowing with cars and bikes, both modified and stock, Bikers Cafe played host to one of our biggest turnouts ever, attended by a huge number of individuals and mototrcycle clubs who had come in to witness the unveiling. Deus Arabia and 86 Cycles arrived first, just past 7PM as the BBQ started. Möto arrived much later as they had a few issues with their custom, but they did make it just in time, getting a round of applause from the guests.   People waited with bated breath as the covers were taken off, and were duly treated to three absolutely stunning motorcycles; custom projects that reflected the immense creativity and hard work behind each build. Deus Arabia had a unique build with plenty of custom components, while Abu Dhabi-based 86Cycles also turned up with an innovative and beautifully built custom Royal Enfield. Even though they came in late, Möto also wowed the crowds with their unique project. It was clearly evident from the cheers that guests had a hard time choosing favourites, as all three bikes boasted a unique vision, incredible workmanship and fantastic detailing.   We would like to thank the judges for taking the time and effort to see the bikes being built, and spending time with the builders so as to better understand the vision behind each one. Big shout out to Sebastian from Seb Sports, Omar from Lycan Customs, Riyaz from Royal Enfield Club and Mr. Kumar from the Royal Enfield Dubai for doing the honours. The judges took about an hour to comprehensively scrutinize the bikes, followed by comparing views and deciding on the points behind closed doors. Everyone was waiting to know the scores, with the teams anxiously checking every now and then to see if the judges were done. By the time they were done, the judges finally settled their remarks and judgements with the contestants in a private meeting. For us, and all of the assembled guests, all three were winners. A hat tip to all the mototrcycle clubs and groups who supported us during the event.
