CRD » Harley-Davidson XL1200
If you’re familiar with Cafe Racer Dreams, you know that they usually do customs based on Hondas and Triumphs. So what is a Harley-Davidson Sportster doing here, you ask? Well, the Milwaukee motorcycles, and especially the Sportster, are big in the custom scene, and it comes as no surprise CRD had to turn their attention to modding one sooner or later.
But, while most of the Harleys in Spain are old-school, fringed leather examples, this one is entirely different, thanks to CRD honcho Pedro García wanting to go down a different route.
CRD #21, or “The Stroke” as it’s called, is based on a 2008 XL1200, but with plenty of custom goodies, including a Storz Performance fuel tank and pipes (the latter complemented by K&N filters), Öhlins suspension parts, Performance Machine brakes and controls, and a custom seat fitted on to the modified rear frame. The bike also gets a relocated headlight, Tarozzi foot controls and a complete repaint.
