Aprilia reveals 2013 RSV4 APRC ABS SBK Special Edition
To celebrate its WSBK-winning performance last year, Aprilia is coming out with a limited-edition sportsbike, the 2013 RSV4 APRC ABS SBK Special Edition. Based on the 2013 RSV4 Factory APRC, it will boast a new variation of Brembo’s monobloc caliper, with the hardware linked to a newly designed Bosch-sourced multi-mode ABS system.
In addition to an extra 4hp (it now makes 184hp), the bike rolls on Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP high-performance street/trackday tires in 120/70-17 front and wider profile 200/55-17 rear. Based on feedback from the WSBK team, the fuel tank has been redesigned to allow the rider to maintain better body stability during hard braking, along with a slightly reduced seat height.
Sadly, the bike will be only available to U.S. and Canadian motorcyclists.
