Vectrix shows the new VT-1 Electric Scooter
Massachusetts, USA-based Vectrix has revealed its new VT-1 electric scooter with an innovative new design, interchangeable and scaleable Lithium batteries and a patented Planetary Gear Drive system.
“The Vectrix VT-1 is remarkable by design,” said Brian Buccella, president of Vectrix. “The craftsmanship the Vectrix engineers put into this new revolutionary scooter is inspiring. The VT-1 will captivate the consumer and expand the experience electric freedom can bring.”
The VT-1 features a top speed of 100km/h and a range of up to 88km per charge. The 10-foot braided cord under the seat plugs into a standard 220V/110V outlet, and within three hours, the Vectrix VT-1 will be 80% charged. Total “zero-to-full” charging times are up to four hours and six hours for some configurations. The VT-1 is the first 125cc- equivalent with interchangeable and scaleable Lithium batteries designed for the urban/suburban commuter along with the global fleet market. Vectrix has also designed new and innovative cargo/parcel options to support delivery applications. With a scaled version of the proven and patented Vectrix Planetary Gear Drive, the VT-1 offers extended top speeds and a longer range of battery charge options supporting any application. The Vectrix VT-1 is truly a bike for everyone. All models are equipped with ABS assisted front- and rear-disc brakes and several top-quality tire combinations.
Like its predecessor, the VX-1, the VT-1 offers lockable storage space under the driver’s seat, as well as a lockable glovebox. The VT-1 models are exclusively equipped with special seat material to give the driver and passenger grip for better handling. The VT-1 newly designed LCD instrumentation console gives the consumer a technologically leading edge, automotive grade feel and experience. The display screens are easy to read in almost any weather or light condition and always have the most critical information readily available for the user.
