Voxan Wattman » How about an electric cruiser?
We’ve seen electric-powered racers and off-road bikes, but this one is different. Engineered in Monaco and made in France, the Wattman is powered by the first Voxan electric motor with permanent magnets and liquid cooling, delivering 200hp and 200Nm of instant torque up to 10,500rpm. Power is sent to a 240mm wide tyre, with Voxan claiming a 0-100km/h and 0-160km/h times of 3.4 seconds and 5.9 seconds. 80 percent charge is reached in less than 30 minutes thanks to a “COMBO II” socket – the European quick charge standard – which is faster than what it takes to recharge your mobile phone. It can also be plugged to a standard household socket with its integrated charger, with the ultra-compact 12.8kWh battery making for a 180km range.
An aluminium “exoskeleton” chassis housing integrates all the components of the powertrain, and is accompanied at the rear by a parallelogram-shaped four-link suspension that creates an extension of the battery pack towards the rear axle.
