TCX is known for supplying motorcycle boots to pro-racers contesting in MotoGP, World Superbikes, British Superbikes, the Dakar rally, World Motocross and road racing, as well as to consumers for everyday use. However, what people may not realise is that behind the Italian design, all TCX footwear has the highest standard of safety features available.

T.C.S CARBON TECH
T.C.S is a Torsion Control System that allows lateral and longitudinal movement of the ankle within its limits, prevents excessive torsion and the risk of joint fracture. Made from lightweight carbon fibre, it also gives greater mechanical control over the ankle and leg, with improved resistance in the event of an impact. T.C.S is available on both the R-S2, and S-R1 boots in the Racing Line, as well as the off-road Pro 2.1.

M.C.S
The Metatarsal Control System is designed to prevent excessive bending upwards or downwards in the metatarsal area, via the use of two pre-planned stopping points. The system has an aluminium alloy toe-slider that is wear resistant and easily replaceable with protected screw heads. M.C.S is available on the R-S2 and the S-R1.

P.A.F.S
The Precise Air Fit System was developed to ensure all riders receive excellent comfort and fit from their motorcycle boots (whatever their foot shape). The system uses an air chamber that is divided into areas of different thickness, which follows the shape of the instep and shank once inflated. The pump gradually inflates the chamber adjusting the pressure and optimising the fit. A brass and steel air valve allows fine adjustment and full deflation of the chamber to make it easier to remove the boot. The P.A.F.S is available on the R-S2.

F.F.C
New in the 2014 collection is the Fastening Fit Control. An internal fastening system where long laces are sewn to the lining of the boot. It ensures that the upper part of the boot wraps around the foot, providing maximum fit, precision and sensitivity. F.F.C works in synergy with the P.A.F.S system offering superb comfort and an adjustable fit.
