Custom BMW R100 RS by Cafe Racer Dreams
This delicious 1977 custom BMW R100RS was commissioned by an existing customer of Spanish custom bike builder Cafe Racer Dreams, who wanted to more or less keep the stock looks while making it behave like a modern motorcycle. The classic BMW receives a Ducati GT 1000 front end, along with upgraded braking and suspension. So you have custom triple trees by Efraon and the Italian motorcycle’s upside-down forks and dual disc Brembo brakes, mated to an Aprilia RSV Mille master cylinder. The GT’s rear shocks are further complemented by Pirelli Sport Demon rubber.
From Motogadget comes the switches and speedo, which is mounted on a 7″ headlight, along with other bits from CRD’s online store, including the taillight, turn signals and grips. The bars are sourced from Renthal, while the silencers are from Supertrapp. The custom BMW bike is finally set off with a classic “Smoke Silver TT” paint scheme from earlier R90S, with some patina retained on the motor for good measure.
