For Jonathan Gibson, the undertaking of a solo world trip on a motorcycle was never meant to be conventional. For his journey, he chose the same make and model that his grandfather rode; a 45 year-old Redditch-built Royal Enfield Bullet 350. It may not be the most appropriate or reliable of bikes to take on such a trip. It might break down, it might struggle on some of the terrains it’ll cross, it might not be the safest way to travel. In fact, Jonathan is counting on it so that he might travel a little slower, get to know the people he’ll meet on the way a little better and discover some answers that he’s been searching for.
