Custom Honda CBR 1000F
This interesting custom Honda CBR 1000F (also known as Hurricane) started life as a 1987 model, and took owner Ian McElroy two long years and a lot of inspiration from the KTM RC8 superbike (see that orange in there?) to complete. Amidst the curves and sharp angles are a new subframe and fenders crafted from aluminium. The bodywork is also constructed from the same metal, carefully welded together, while the stock gauges have been swapped with a Veypor setup that can also record G-force, 0-60, quarter mile time and lap time as well as speed and RPM. The stock motor makes 130 horsepower – so it’s not exactly lacking in power – but this one does receive K&N filters and a one-off, less restrictive exhaust system for added punch.
