Custom Yamaha SR500 » ExesoR Motorcycles
We know ExesoR Motorcycles craft some genuinely beautiful machines, like the Honda CB250 we featured earlier in the blog. And this custom Yamaha SR500 is no different. Christian came across the shoddy original for about USD 260; deal done, the bike and parts were taken back to the garage. He then proceeded to work through the parts, making a list of what was available, and what needed to be fabricated or found. The existing swingarm was extended by grafting on an additional piece, along with a custom-made chain and a new set of Hagon shock absorbers. The one-off fuel tank is paired with a custom-built aluminium half-fairing, and joined by a custom seat crafted by Bernhard Naumann. The ExesoR Yamaha’s steampunk-ish look is further highlighted with brass bolts which replace the original stainless steel items as well as aged brown leather for the seat. Complementing the assymmetrical lighting arrangement front and back are the rear indicators, which have been seamlessly fitted inside the frame tubes. Let us know what you think of this custom Yamaha SR500!
