Handcrafted in Denver, Colorado, Connor Wood Bicycles embody simple, pure fun in the most unique way possible on two wheels. Individually hand-sculpted from sustainable American hardwoods like ash and walnut, the bicycles use wood for all major sections of the frame. At critical junctures where wood needs to interface with bearing surfaces, it is reinforced with aluminium.

The head tube, bottom bracket, a short sleeve of seat tube and the rear dropouts are embedded in the frame or secured into place. The seat stays and chain stays and a section by the head tube have layers of Kevlar laminated in with the wood to ensure absolute strength. Finally, the bikes are treated with marine spar varnish for protection from the elements. The maker also claims a ‘buttery smooth’ ride thanks to wood being more vibration-free than steel.
