Marrajo (Mako Shark in Spanish) is an entry level El Solitario Special, based on a 1998 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom. Commissioned by a customer in the Canary Islands, who wanted to have an El Solitario Chupito, but suitable for longer distance cruising. Reliability was the main concern. To be 100% road legal and being able to carry a passenger was also top on the list. With these premises in mind, El Solitario MC decided that a big Sportster matched the job description. The donor bike was super tight, with only 10k miles, so the power plant didn’t need any work and runs like an angry shark.
