1958 BMW R50 » Analog Motorcycles
You might have already viewed some of Analog Motorcycles’ work, like this Indian Continental Scout for instance. The company was started officially in the summer of 2009; however, the idea has been there for years. Tony Prust, founder of Analog Motorcycles, has been riding and customizing motorcycles for over 15 years. The attention to detail Tony has developed throughout this hobby, combined with his profession as a trim carpenter, has resulted in stunning motorcycles over the years. Currently, Analog is capable of small accessory installs to full custom bike builds, powder coating to fabricating and everything in between.
This particular 1958 BMW R50, dubbed Blue Baron, gets a completely de-tabbed frame and rebuilt engine, along with custom-made top triple, headlight ears, rear taillight, fender struts, tank emblems and the entire seat bracket assembly. The aftermarket aluminium rims and stainless spokes are joined by Shinko 705 tyres, 4.10-18 front and rear. Other bits include a custom battery tray and cover, as well as rebuilt carbs, new exhaust, custom modified headers with ceramic coated internal baffles and Emgo mufflers. Completely new electrical wiring and lighting are accompanied by wrapped Biltwell grips (to match the seat), custom paint and pinstriping.
