We’ve all heard about Cars and Coffee Irvine, the original car meet event that had to (unfortunately) close down due to exploding attendance over the past eight years. The informal meet, where owners brought in their prized beauties – everything from classic automobiles and muscle cars to to supercars and off-road machines – had inspired countless similar meets worldwide, even here in the Middle East. That said, this is something different, cars from coffee! Morning Coffee Project is a series of paintings created by artist and aspiring automotive designer Adrian Mitu, who began painting cars with watercolours, before beginning to dabble with his morning coffee. Apparently, his work has created a bit of a stir, with the drawings displayed in galleries around the world.
