Gulf Bike Week revs up for 2015
The Middle East’s premier motorcycle, music and lifestyle festival returns to Dubai on 22-24 October, and promises to be the biggest and best yet at a brand new home for 2015 – the Dubai Autodrome. Now in its seventh year, Gulf Bike Week is the ultimate celebration of all things bike and motoring, making it a must attend event for motor enthusiasts, petrol heads and lovers of motorcycles.
Its unique festival-feel with motoring entertainment, live bands, food trucks and hospitality also makes it a fun, action packed day for families, day trippers and music fans from across the region. Youngsters will even have their own dedicated Adventure HQ kids zone with a bike pump track, trampolining, rope quest and for the little ones the chance to try out their first bike experience.
With the show taking place in the Race Paddock, it means visitors can get up close to the exclusive thrilling action including bike stunts from local and international riders, drifting sequences from the top regional team and parades of the latest and best motorcycle models released for the next riding season. All motorcycle license holders will also have the opportunity to ride the club track testing the latest models from the leading brands.
Richard Birch, General Manager of Dubai Autodrome comments “We are delighted that Gulf Bike Week is being held at Dubai Autodrome and look forward to the Autodrome being home to the show for many years to come. Dubai Autodrome and Gulf Bike Week are the perfect fit and we are sure that the event will showcase some of the greatest motoring action seen in the Middle East with use of the paddock, pit garages and on the club track.”
The much-loved traditional Gulf Bike Week features still remain at the heart of the festival with new exciting developments for 2015. The Custom Bike Build Championships hosted by international judge Frank Sander will start on Friday and for the first time will include a public vote for the overall winner.
The renowned Thunder Parade will also now begin with laps of the club track before heading off on a brand new exhilarating route across Dubai and finishing back in the brand new and dedicated “In-Show Bike Park” for all the loyal biker community to show off their machines to the waiting crowds.
Tickets will go on sale at the end of August, available at www.gulfbikeweek.com. Buying tickets in advance is cheaper and a dedicated group package is available for all clubs and biker group communities.
