Hanse Qustom BMW R nineT
Based in Hamburg, Hanse Qustom is run by seven motorcycle enthusiasts led by Andreas Mecke, and backed by the local BMW and Triumph dealerships, Stüdemann GmbH and Q-Bike GmbH. In addition to receiving custom bikes that go faster and look flash, customers also benefit from factory levels of quality and servicing as well. The Roadster is their second custom BMW R nineT after the pop art-liveried “Shiny Schorsch”, one that emphasizes clean and simple styling.
The strong front end is complemented by a handmade solo seat (crafted from brown tumbled leather), dual exhaust system, a narrow flat handlebar, downturned mirrors and a small instrument cluster from Motogadget. The Hanse Qustom BMW R nineT is finished off in a dark, highly polished racing green hue, accented with golden lines and polished metal surfaces.
The Hanse Qustom BMW R nineT is by far my most favourite customized R nineT I have yet seen on the internet!! What a beautifully designed and crafted custom example. To think that my nineT when put in the hands of a skilled designer and builder, could one day also become a unique beauty like this is exciting. So many customs are just over done, but this exquisite and understated machine is perfection. The attention to detail so meticulously implemented. The colour, the pipes, the pin striping, front fairing….. it is a complete package, not one thing looks odd or out of place in any way. It is perfect!!
