El Solitario Mononoke
Based on a 1975 Ducati 350, the El Solitario Mononoke features a full race-spec motor fully blueprinted and built with the best parts that could be found, including new bearings, ported head, Phil Joy camshaft, VMH 3-piece crankshaft, Leonti conrod and Omega piston. Also installed are a Dell’Orto PHF 36 carb, custom exhaust, high-output oil pump and external camshaft feed with return pipes, and twin spark ignition.
A close-ratio gearbox and Mario Sassi dry clutch are in charge of transmitting the power to the rear wheel, aided by a Domino Quick Action Throttle. Dynamics are taken care of by Ceriani GP 35mm Maxton-tuned forks, Hagon shocks, Borrani wheels and a Fontana Magnesium front brake. The original Ducati rear hub is accompanied by a modified standard frame and swingarm, custom rearsets, White Power steering damper, Veglia instrunentation and Tommaselli controls.
Finally, the bike has been treated to a cool oil paint job by Osiyuyu homaging Miyazaki’s Princess Mononoke.
