Motul Onirika 2853 Concept
Surprise, surprise! Italian arm of French lubricant manufacturer Motul commisioned this one-off custom based on the already exotic MV Agusta Brutale 800.
Shown at the 2016 Verona Motor Bike Expo, and built by Luca Pozzato of Officine GPDesign, the Motul Onirika 2853 Concept is a vision of how the brand sees itself a 1000 years after its founding (1853).
While the concept retains the Brutale’s 798cc three-cylinder engine, frame and swingarm, everything else is a far cry from the original. Pozzato has added quite a bit of bronzed accents to the primarily iron gray colour for an industrial feel, with the red “Motul” logo standing out very prominently.
Neat details include the metal seat with its large rivets, fuel cap that is shaped like a gear, disc-like wheels, dual boxy headlights, and even thick tubing for the brake lines. The Onirika 2853 is finally set off with a graphic of various mechanical parts from tank to tail, applied using a water transfer printing method. Very cold, very mechanical, don’t you think?
