Cyclists Take Over Ajman
Launched by the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD), Ride Ajman – the first cycling event in Ajman saw hundreds of cyclists hit the road and take on the 90km or 7km course. Starting at Fairmont Ajman, the partner hotel, cyclists were cheered on by friends and family as they sped off heading to Al Tallah Camel Racecourse on the 90km journey which concluded at the starting point. Simultaneously a 7km charity ride took place with over 75 cyclists taking part creating awareness for Al Ajmani Charity Foundation – the foundation which meets the requirements of families in need by providing charitable services.
His Highness Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, said: “It has been a delight to host so many cyclists and visitors here this morning in beautiful Ajman, we have made huge progress in positioning the emirate as a fantastic sporting destination and this morning’s event gives me great confidence that we will continue on our quest with great success.”
