AC Sanctuary » Honda CB1100R
By now, you’d be aware of the fact that the guys at AC Sanctuary, in addition to building epic modern-day customs from retro Japanese bikes, do NOT let you choose what you want. Of course, you can pick a few parts, but that’s about it; the end result is their decision, which is almost always awesome. Case in point is this beautiful Honda CB1100R.
Altered to volume 11 seems like an understatement here, what with a heavily reinforced frame and comprehensively upgraded inline-four motor, the latter boasting Cosworth pistons, stronger cylinder heads and crankshaft. Along with a new TMR38 Mikuni flatslide carb and Nitro Racing titanium V3 exhaust system, power rises from 100 to 140hp. That’s pretty neat for a three decade-old engine! Other performance bits include a mix of Brembo, Nissin and Sunstar components with Ohlins front and rear suspension. Topping the build are 17″ OZ rims shod with Pirelli Diablo tyres.
