The Hookie » Yamaha XS360

Yamaha’s XS360 never sold in huge numbers, admittedly outshone by its slighty bigger sibling, the XS400. Interestingly, both bikes featured an almost identical parallel-twin, air-cooled mill with a crank off-set of 180 degrees, as well as the same 6-speed transmission and frame.

This neat XS360 is by German custom shop, The Hookie, who have retained the most characteristic aspects of the bike while adding a little bit of their own flavour. The original handlebars have been ditched in favour of a pair of classic clip-ons, while a custom all-in-one seat/rear cowling comes in place of the stock seat. Other bits include a custom exhaust, cleaned up mid-frame section, knobbly rubber and deleted fenders.
