When it first appeared in 2006, Triumph’s Daytona 675 was more or less the benchmark bike for the Supersport class. So it might as no wonder then, that this particular machine was specifically rebuilt – by T-Factorbikes, Belgium – for track action, with tweaks to the engine, brakes and a weight loss programme.

Mods to the engine include a K&N filter on the intake side, a titanium Akrapovic racing exhaust system that replaces the stock unit (incidentally it helps to shave some weight too), a custom remap with the help of Tuneboy software, an Active Quick action throttle and a slipper clutch. Additional weight loss comes in the guise of lightweight carbon and aluminium components that replace the standard pieces and Marchesini forged aluminium wheels.

To improve the handling, Bitubo fully adjustable pressurized cartridge forks are employed in front, with the rear getting a Bitubo XXF31 racing monoshock. Retardation capabilities are enhanced by MotoMaster flamed front disks, radial Beringer callipers, Goodridge steel braided hoses and a radial Brembo master cylinder.

The bike is finally set off with an exquisite matt Gulf livery with a few decals.
