Best known for the sunglasses, Italian eyewear brand SUPER by RETROSUPERFUTURE tapped legendary Japanese artist Keiichi Tanaami to customize a collaborative motorcycle. Harking back to the collection’s “VISIVA” series, the project is based on a 1988 Honda NX650, worked upon by the skilled craftsmen at Italy’s Basic Garage. The Motorpsycho is a tribute to the alternative lifestyle that inspired this year’s Motorpsycho collection; a special project that celebrates youthful rebellious countercultures, cross-country road trips, subversive psychedelia and the endless search for liberty.

Essentially, the Honda NX650 receives Continental TKC 80 twinduro tyres, handmade fibreglass fairing by Elaboratorio, Motogadget instruments, custom seat and lowered stainless steel front fork, along with four headlights, custom aluminium side panels, Honda CG125 fuel tank, LED taillight and turn signals, drag handlebar and a semi-gloss black steel-braided brake line. Whilst not available for purchase, Motorpsycho will be exhibited worldwide at select shows.
