Flat Racer is a London-based boutique that makes some wonderful accessories for vintage BMW motorcycles. This beautiful custom you see here started life as a stock 1990 Monolever before being equipped with a delicious-looking fairing, thus giving it a new lease of life. The thing to note here is that the Flat Racer team set out to design a fairing that could be fitted without irreversibly altering the frame; while this may not sound too tough, it actually took them a solid five years to complete.

Thanks to the svelte, wind-cheating fairing, this particular Flat Racer prototype also proved to have a higher top speed than the original, along with slightly improved fuel economy, better riding position and, of course, vastly upgraded looks.
