Jet Engine Harley-Davidson!
We don’t know if you’ve seen this before, but we just came across this wicked 1929 Harley-davidson Board Tracker powered by, well, a pair of pulsejet engines. The thing went up for sale on eBay about three years ago for USD 25,000.
We have absolutely no idea why anyone would build a modern interpretation of an ancient Harley-Davidson board tracker with jet power, but why the hell not? We admit to staring at the thing for an indecent amount of time. The seller claims that the bodywork on the bike was built with the classic P-51 Mustang in mind and the whole thing is custom from front to back. There are new Avon tyres on the bike front and rear and the brakes come from a new Harley.
While the Argus engines might give it enough thrust to alter the time-space continuum, we’re pretty sure nobody has ever tried it out yet. And while the seller also encourages you to take this jet-engined Harley-Davidson to various events and shows, you might have to trailer it, as it doesn’t look very road legal.
