Ever wonder what happens when someone (really talented) outside Ferrari designs a concept car for the brand? Well, it’s something like this Ferrari F80 Concept, an independent study by Italian designer Adriano Raeli, which he sees as a successor to the LaFerrari.

The F80 Concept retains the long nose and aerodynamic rear of current flagship Ferraris while making a striking change to the power source. Out goes the V12, and in comes Ferrari’s own KERS system to make a hypothetical 1200 horsepower from a twin-turbo hybrid V8. Raeli perceives the concept to have a 0-100km/h time of 2.2 seconds, and a top speed of nearly 500km/h. It won’t get built as far as we know, but does it look delicious!
